Tamina Learning Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. The safety and wellbeing of students is a central priority in all tuition and workshop settings.

1. Safeguarding Commitment

We aim to provide a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment in both:

  • Online tuition sessions
  • In-person workshops

All interactions are conducted professionally and in accordance with appropriate safeguarding standards.

2. DBS Clearance

The lead tutor holds an up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Evidence of DBS clearance can be provided upon request.

3. Parental Involvement

Where a student is under 18:

  • A parent or legal guardian must be aware of all tuition arrangements.
  • Booking and payment must be made by the parent or guardian.
  • Contact details for a parent or guardian must be provided.

We do not enter into private tuition agreements directly with minors.

4. Online Safety

Online sessions are delivered via secure platforms such as Google Meet.

  • Sessions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed in advance by all parties.
  • Students are expected to attend sessions in an appropriate setting within their home.
  • Professional boundaries are maintained at all times.

5. In-Person Workshops

For in-person workshops:

  • Sessions are delivered in organised educational settings.
  • Minimum and maximum group sizes are maintained.
  • Professional conduct standards apply at all times.

6. Professional Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully
  • Follow reasonable instructions
  • Behave appropriately

We reserve the right to discontinue services if behaviour compromises safety or wellbeing.

7. Confidentiality & Information Sharing

Student information is treated confidentially.

However, we may share information with parents, guardians, or relevant authorities where safeguarding concerns arise.

Where there is concern about a student's safety or welfare, appropriate action will be taken in line with legal responsibilities.
